CM9 8ST 257948 I became a Carer because: My mom was a nurse and she always encouraged me to go into the care sector as i had a naturally compassionate personality which suited it. I enjoy building a bond with my customers and being there for them when they need me. I supported my grandfather who was diagnosed with Parkinson and Dementia. I took a mainly compassionate role to ensure to make sure that he always had someone to talk to and I would also assist him with personal care, medication and I would accompany him to hospital appointments in a professional capacity. I have worked as a flight attendant where I had to adhere to strict company guidelines as well as safety and security regulations and ensuring the passengers on board were taken care of. I am a proactive individual who is keen to develop my knowledge and gain new skills. I'm comfortable in using my initiative in different situations and I'm always willing to take responsibility. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1"}

CO10 1UA 130204 Before working in care and while raising a family, I worked mainly in office based jobs. In my own time I supported an elderly neighbour with light housework, gardening, walking her little companion dog, accessing the community, or just called in for a cup of tea and a chat. I also supported a friend who was a wheelchair user and accompanied him to fundraising and social events. Since my children have now all flown the nest, I have pursued my passion to work in care. I have worked previously as a rehabilitation support worker for people who have ABI (acquired brain injury}, and was working on an employed basis for the elderly in a care home setting for over two and a half years before going back to one-to-one support for individuals with ABI. I love to get to know the individuals I support and care for as this allows me to provide 'person centered' care in the true sense, and gain a deeper understanding of an individuals care needs. When I hear from residents or clients that I care for that "It is nice to receive care from someone who really cares', it just melts my heart and fills me with pride and fulfillment in what I do. I love animals and understand and appreciate how important companion animals can be, I know how important my dog is to my own happiness and wellbeing. I have a genuine interest in people, their welfare and dignity, and with a wide variety of interests I am usually able to find something to connect on some level with people from all walks of life. If you are looking for some support for yourself or a loved one, please get in touch, I would love to hear from you. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

With years of experience in the field, I have honed my abilities in providing compassionate and personalized support to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My primary goal is always to ensure that every person feels seen, heard, and valued. I am not just your typical support worker. I am also a devoted film enthusiast and believe in the power of storytelling through cinema. I love sharing this passion with both children and adults, whether it's watching movies together, discussing the themes and characters, or helping them discover new films that might inspire or entertain them. Movies have the ability to ignite imagination and evoke emotions, making them a wonderful tool for connection and exploration. When I'm not engrossed in the cinematic world, you can find me engaging in outdoor activities, such as going for walks with my great dane. I believe in the importance of physical activity and spending time in nature for both children and adults. Whether it's a leisurely stroll in the park, a hike through scenic trails, or simply enjoying the fresh air, these experiences provide opportunities for relaxation, exercise, and rejuvenation. In addition to outdoor activities, I love organizing and participating in enriching experiences for both children and adults. From educational museum visits to cultural events or fun-filled outings, I believe in creating moments that inspire, educate, and foster social connections. These shared experiences can create lasting memories and deepen relationships. With a commitment to professionalism, empathy, and creativity, I offer a holistic approach to support services for both children and adults. I prioritize the emotional, physical, and intellectual well-being of each individual, tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs. My goal is to provide support, guidance, and encouragement, helping individuals of all ages to grow, learn, and thrive. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs or the needs of your child or loved one. I am here to provide assistance and support, and I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact in your life. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

CM7 1GP 247047 Hello, My name is Bolanle and care is my passion. I have worked in care for over 20 years with children, adolescents, adults and older adults. This has been in various settings; which has exposed me to encounter many conditions and get to really understand the experiences that people who need care can only share. This role had allowed me to show love, compassion, patience and has also been able to advocate for many people to ensure they feel heard and listened to. I have worked with people suffering with complex care needs such as but not limited to dementia, mental health conditions, autism and so much more. More recently I have been involved in companion care; This has been through creating positive memories chosen by them such as travelling with them, shopping, going to the movies and also attending community activities. Care has been what I have chosen to do not just as a form Of work, but as a way for my to express the amount of love I have for all who I come across by supporting them where they need it most; which also influenced my degree in early childhood studies. I love watching movies, travelling and seeing new things, swimming, meeting people and being with family and friends and I absolutely love cooking especially when I have visitors. Please get in touch if you need me, always happy to help. :) {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}
