BA14 8BN 2994 I am naturally caring by nature and like looking after others, empathetic and sensitive to the requirements and individual circumstances of each individual client I'm dealing with. It is very rewarding to give someone a better quality of life. I have previous experience as Live-In Carer, domiciliary carer, nursing home, personal assistant. I have updated training and qualifications with complex conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer, Learning Disability, Motor Neuron Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Freidreichs Ataxia. I am a confident driver, non smoker, good cooking skills. In my spare time I like reading, jigsaw, listen music ,cinema, to go out for a walk, to the pub for a meal or drink with friends, I love to travel. *** all my rates are informative, depending on the level of care*** Testimonials endorsements from clients: • “I want to express our admiration for Nicolette and acknowledge that she has tolerated and worked around some exceptionally unpleasant and stressful behaviour from my mother .We are both extraordinarily grateful for her time and the patience she has shown which went beyond the call of duty “ Henry P, son of client • “You have gone above and beyond to ensure that your customer is fully supported and that she remains as safe as possible you have done an amazing job and have remained calm and resilient in what have often been challenging and stressful situations. Anne`s sons have both spoken highly of the dedicated care you provide for their mother. “ Samantha G, Local Care Services Manager • “Nicolette worked as a living carer for my mother for a number of weeks in September /October/ November 2016. My mother has dementia and requires 24 hours care to ensure her comfort and safety. Duties that were required included cooking, administering medicine, running the household, arranging and attending doctor’s appointments, ensuring my mother washed, dressed, ate and drank properly and went to bed at the appropriate time. Nicolette performed her duties without supervision and showed a good level of initiative solving problems as they arose in a calm manner. She motivated my mother to leave the house often and to do activities every day for example going for a walk for local café .She developed a very good rapport with my mother who clearly enjoyed her time with Nicolette and we could see that she had fun .Nicolette is approachable ,clever, friendly and does her job very well and we wouldn't hesitate to have her caring for my mother in the future “ Mark H, son of client • “I would have no hesitation employing Nicolette. She is first class at her job. She looked after my disabled sister over Christmas and New Year. She is kind, caring and understanding. Your gain is our loss!” Bert J, brother of client • “Nicolette worked as my live-in carer (I have Motor Neuron Disease) from 27th January 2016 and is returning to Romania next Tuesday (21st June). She is totally reliable, caring and compassionate and has a great sense of humour. Nicolette is liked by wife, all our four children and those of our friends who have met her. She will be a hard act to follow. Her spoken English is good, and she has a wide vocabulary, she also has French Italian and some Spanish. I recommend her without hesitation “ Philip S, client {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

BA13 3QP 285131 An effective, compassionate, experienced professional Carer and Independent Advocate. I made the transition from working in the Information Technology industry as a Business Development professional to working with people on a one-to-one basis supporting their emotional well-being and life aspirations. Caring for and supporting close family members at the end of their lives provided me with a lot of insight and experience in social care. I have supported a younger family member through some significant mental health challenges that included, OCD, Eating Disorder, Addiction and Self-Neglect. This involved me advocating for this family member in all aspects of  access to services and upholding of rights. As a result of these experiences, I decided to become a professional Carer. I then transitioned into the role of Independent Advocate. I am currently seeking work as a Professional Carer alongside my ongoing Advocacy work. Most of the adult care clients I have worked with, and many adult advocacy clients have had varying stages of dementia and capacity. It has been my experience that each person's journey with dementia is different and as such requires an individual approach. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

You know, I believe that caring for others and building connections is not just a job for me; it's my passion and purpose in life. One thing that sets me apart is my ability to establish trust and create real bonds with the people I work with. Whether it's a child, a senior citizen, or anyone in between, I treat each person with the same level of respect and love, as if they were part of my own family. I genuinely enjoy the work I do, and I always put in that extra effort to make a positive impact in people's lives. For me, it's not about clocking in and out; it's about making a meaningful difference and helping others through both the ups and downs. I've been told that my caring nature and empathetic approach make a real difference in the lives of those I support. It warms my heart knowing that I can be there for someone, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when they need it the most. It's incredible to see the positive changes that can happen when you treat people with kindness and understanding. I believe in creating an environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated, no matter their background or circumstances. If you're looking for someone who's not just hardworking but genuinely cares about making a difference, I'm your person! 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

SN14 0DD 254614 Hello, My name is Reda and I’m excited to tell you more about myself. I'm a reliable, gentle, intelligent and committed individual who loves taking care of others. I got a master's degree in social work, but I never imagined that working with elderly and disabled people would fill my life with so much meaning. I’m a hard worker and I’m always willing to go the extra mile in order to help others. I’m choosing to work as a self-employed carer as I find this way, having all responsibility myself, I am able make my clients' lives more comfortable than when working for an agency. I value dignity, respect and privacy, and I also aim to form trusting bonds with my clients. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

BA11 1NJ 24354 Respite live in care on an ad-hoc basis I am a calm, organised person that enjoys life. I enjoy company but equally enjoy my own space. I do a lot of walking and enjoy cycling in the summer months. I am passionate about travel and have been lucky enough to have travelled fairly extensively. I enjoy crafting projects when at home. I was born and bred in Somerset and currently live in Frome. I have spent 2 years working as a live in carer and the past 2 years working as a carer for a tour company which specialises in holidays for people with disabilities. I found it very rewarding and nice to connect with other people. I have completed the Care Certificate. I have experience working with Cerebral Palsy, Depression and Anxiety. For many years I lived with a family member with Multiple Sclerosis. I have never worked with Peg but am willing to learn. Currently I am happy to travel to a client within two hours of my home. When the U.K situation changes I will be willing to travel further distances if client is happy to contribute to fuel costs. I drive a large van, so able to get to clients easily, but because of a large step to get in, it is not advisable to take clients out in it. I am more than happy to drive clients car and have a full, clean driving licence. I have an animal allergy, so unable to go to homes with any pet animals. Bank holidays are normally charged at time and a half. Christmas day, boxing day and Christmas bank holidays are charged at double time. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}
