My duties have involved drafting care plans, food preparation, personal hygiene care, housekeeping, escorting service users to the doctors, walks and shopping as well as deescalating and restraining those with more challenging behaviour in forensic mental health settings. My experience over the years has enabled me to be observant, empathetic, patient, reliable, respectful and also the importance maintaining a positive and encouraging attitude.
